King County's Solid Waste Division seeks a journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to repair and maintain heavy‑duty trucks, dozers, backhoes and related equipment at the Renton maintenance facility. This full‑time role supports daily operations at the landfill and transfer stations.
You will diagnose fuel, ignition, electrical and hydraulic systems, document work orders, and ensure safety practices. CDL is preferred; ASE certification is a plus and union representation applies.
