Elevate HR services at Maple Leaf Foods as an Employee Services Coordinator. This 12-month contract position involves employee relations, HR inquiries, and maintaining high accuracy in a manufacturing setting.

The Employee Services Coordinator plays a vital role in the HR team, supporting hourly employees at the Heritage plant. This position demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to efficiently manage various HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee benefits, and new hire orientation. Accuracy and a high level of urgency are crucial to maintain organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first contact for HR inquiries

• Update employee records in SAP and Kronos

• Coordinate internal job postings and recruitment

• Facilitate new hire orientations and documentation

• Manage employee benefits and pension plans

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources preferred

• 1-2 years HR or Health & Safety experience

• Familiarity with union environments is an asset

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
