Construction Electrician Leaf Foods

Maple Leaf Foods is hiring a Construction Electrician to ensure electrical systems are installed and repaired to the highest standards. This role prioritizes safety and accuracy in a busy environment.

As a licensed Electrician, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager while working closely with the Production Supervisors daily. Your tasks will include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and interacting with ESA Inspectors. A strong focus on compliance with electrical codes and safety practices is a must in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems effectively

• Read and interpret complex electrical schematics

• Liaise with ESA for inspections and documentation

• Conduct preventative maintenance on machines

• Maintain a clean and safe working area

Requirements:

• Ontario Industrial or Construction Electrician Certification

• Basic computer skills, SAP knowledge preferred

• Physically capable of handling tasks over 25 kg

• Excellent English communication skills

• Availability for rotating shifts as needed
