Public Works Operator IV Creek

Join the Town of Maple Creek as a full-time Public Works Operator IV. This role involves operating heavy equipment to maintain vital infrastructure while efficiently managing public services.

The Public Works Operator IV will report directly to the Director of Operations. In this capacity, you will be responsible for construction and maintenance of roads, sewer and water systems. You will also engage in essential services such as waste management, snow removal, and upkeep of public properties, requiring both competence and safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support infrastructure maintenance projects including roads and utilities

• Operate powered mobile equipment safely and effectively

• Manage public services like waste removal and snow clearing

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards

• Report to the Director of Operations about ongoing projects

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of relevant experience

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 3 Drivers License

• Relevant equipment certifications or willingness to obtain

• First Aid/CPR and other safety certifications required
