Position: Full-Time Bus Mechanic Creek
Become a vital part of the Chinook School Division as a full-time Bus Mechanic at the Maple Creek Bus Garage. This permanent position involves servicing buses and maintaining organizational standards every day.

The Chinook School Division, dedicated to over 6,000 students across 62 schools, is seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic. This role requires strong interpersonal and mechanical skills to ensure that buses and vehicles are serviced and safe for the road. You will manage inventory, conduct annual safety inspections, and maintain effective communication with the transportation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service buses and school-owned vehicles regularly

• Perform annual safety inspections on all buses

• Maintain cleanliness in the garage and common areas

• Ensure spare buses are ready for use at all times

• Wash and clean division vehicles as needed

Requirements:

• Valid “Class 1-5” driver’s license with clean record

• Journeyperson’s Designation required

• Experience with gas and diesel engines preferred

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
