Position SummaryCombining in‑depth automotive repair knowledge with exceptional people skills, you will manage customer relationships, serve as a liaison between technicians and customers, coach and supervise vehicle technicians, and assist with parts procurement.
Sign‑on bonus: $2,000 (first‑time hires)
Pay Range: $22.66 – $33.99 per hour
Responsibilities- Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to skill level.
- Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and retention of an effective auto service team.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and follow‑up.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
- Manage paperwork and financial transactions to support efficient store operations.
- Drive sales through vehicle inspections and facilitation between front and back‑office staff.
- Provide insights to front‑office staff to enhance product and service sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years of auto service technical experience.
- 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with customer complaints.
- Aptitude for inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance management.
- Capacity to lead and coach others.
- Excellent teammate and customer communication skills.
- Ability to recruit and select technicians.
- Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
- Valid automotive driver’s license to test‑drive customer vehicles.
- 2‑year degree or equivalent.
