Join our team in Maplewood as a full-time Treatment Coordinator! This position serves a critical role in the clinic as they help patients understand the cost of recommended treatment and makes appropriate financial arrangements with patients.
Responsibilities- Review schedule daily for patient financial obligations
- Verify all patients’ insurance – state and commercial
- Collect payments and/or copays from patients
- Receive overflow calls from scheduling coordinators
- Receive and return calls from patients pertaining to financial quotes for treatment plans
- Schedule patient appointments as needed
- Answer patient questions regarding billing and payment options
- Process application for sliding fee scale and care grants
- Post payments on patient accounts
- Send out pre-estimates to patients
- Mid-Shift: Monday through Thursday from 10am to 6pm, and Friday from 10pm to 5pm
- PM Shift: Monday through Thursday 2:00pm – 9:30pm and Friday from 12:00pm – 5:30pm
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within a dental or medical office setting
- Experience working with insurance
- No prior dental experience required
