GENERALJOB DESCRIPTION
- Teach technical knowledge in the medical career field
- Provide instruction in the areas of work ethic and life skills which will lead to employment and skills related to the medical career field
- Affiliation and involvement in the SkillsUSA youth organization and competitions
- Coordinate work related/educational activities outside the school facility
- Organizational, classroom management, lesson plan development, and lesson plan implementation skills are essential for success in this position
SUPERVISOR: TBA
MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO QUALIFY- Associate degree or higher in the medical field and 3 years of experience in the medical field
- Five years of experience in the medical field
- Possess an Ohio teaching license for Medical Assisting
Placement on the teachers' salary schedule will be based on education, work and teaching experience. The minimum starting pay will be $53,494. The contract consists of 188 days for the first year and 184 days thereafter.
