The Impact You’ll Make in this Role- Implement environmental standards, policies and practices including programs and training for environmental management and compliance for the R&D organization.
- Lead, develop, and implement new and existing environmental programs/practices aimed to mitigate hazards, ensure compliance, and improve site environmental processes within R&D.
- Interpret, implement, coordinate, and maintain the regulatory compliance rhythm to assure completion of reporting and recording for applicable Federal, State and Local Environmental Permits, regulations, programs, and Solventum EHS standards.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to the site by leading or assisting in committee teams and meetings, including EHS regulatory interpretations.
- Manage all environmental impacts at our Eagan site and support environmental reviews across R&D locations.
- Coach and mentor research developers, engineers and supervisory staff in environmental improvement projects, program development, and related activities.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, attention to detail, and standard work to realize a working environment of open communications, project management and prioritization, toward compliance and risk reduction.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (“completed and verified prior to start”) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of experience in environmental permitting, environmental programs, and/or environmental engineering in a private, public, government or military environment.
- OR High School Diploma/GED (“completed and verified prior to start”) AND six (6) years of experience in environmental permitting, environmental programs, and/or environmental engineering in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Master’s degree or higher in science, engineering or environmental health and safety (EHS) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in implementing comprehensive EHS management systems.
- Experience with SPCC, RCRA, CWA, CAA, SWPPP, UST/AST systems, CERCLA, DOT, Federal and State regulations.
- Analytical, leadership, project planning, program development and deployment skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across disciplines.
- Self‑directed, detail oriented, good interpersonal, communication, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Experience working on a cross‑functional team.
- QEP, CSP, or CIH certification(s).

Additional InformationSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. The expected compensation range for this position is $90,525 - $117,150, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range is a good faith estimate. Additional benefits may include medical, dental & vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences and retirement benefits.
