• Identify and evaluate manufacturing process and equipment deficiencies, drive solutions, determine priority, and implement a path to execution.
• Provide guidance and leadership to plant-level personnel in best practices for process and equipment operation as well as preventative maintenance.
• Support capital project justifications.
• Determine equipment and MES improvement priorities to choose the best resolution path, including repair or replacement.
• Use data-based tools and methodologies to identify improvement recommendations and drive appropriate actions.
• Lead operational excellence at all four IMP mining plants (Corona, Little Rock, Pittsboro, Wausau) through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, manufacturing, cost, and employee relations.
• Lead and support projects with high impact on plant performance and yield.
• Work effectively across multiple sites.

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of experience in engineering or manufacturing technical fields in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Five (5) years of experience in heavy industrial operations, including equipment maintenance.

• Prior experience in mineral processing, manufacturing process & maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Experience with mining operations and related crushing & screening equipment.
• Strong data and analytics skills.
• Experience engaging with production and maintenance organizations.
• Self‑starter / self‑directed with high energy and passion.
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams across multiple functions or disciplines.
• Effective facilitation, communication, and teaching skills.
• Ability to understand and apply analytical and statistical tools.
• Experience and certification with Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience in operational excellence, lean implementation, and financial accounting.
• Experience in mining or heavy industrial applications and equipment.

• On‑site at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN, requiring at least three days a week. Alternative sites include Corona (CA), Little Rock (AK), Pittsboro (NC), and Wausau (WI).
• Domestic travel up to 15%.
• Relocation assistance may be authorized.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Expected compensation range: $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
