USAC Finance Manager - AAD
As the AAD USAC Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the USAC Area Leadership team for the AAD business. In this role you will work closely with the Global Portfolio, Supply Planning, R&D leaders and the AAD Division Leadership team to drive performance, continuous improvement and operational strategy aligned with short‑ and long‑term objectives.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role- Be a business partner to the Area Division Leader in USAC and provide financial leadership to the area team.
- Drive robust financial planning & analysis processes to improve business results, target attainment and accountability.
- Facilitate regular forecast discussions, including risk and opportunity assessments, action plans and updates on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Accountable for Longview submission for the monthly estimate, operating planning and support for the long‑term Strategic Plan.
- Leverage data across multiple systems to articulate sources of growth performance and variances to plans and estimates.
- Connect operational actions to financial planning to drive accountability and execution.
- Lead sales incentive planning, sales performance target development, customer incentive planning and other investments to drive growth and commercial excellence.
- Partner with key account leaders to provide financial leadership in joint business planning with customers and annual CIP negotiations.
- Influence area and business teams with analyses and insights to improve cash flow, including AR DSO, AR past‑due resolution, DIO and NWI performance.
- Engage with global portfolio teams and cross‑functional teams to drive portfolio management, price, mix, margin improvement and return on investment optimization.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Seven (7) years of finance experience working in private, public, government or military environments.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:
- MBA or graduate degree in Finance from an accredited institution.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and conflicting deadlines.
- Strong business knowledge, strategic thinking and the ability to see intersections between business, financial and economic data.
- Creative problem‑solving skills and the ability to work with diverse functional teams to address key issues.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful financial insights and analysis.
- Previous experience in a Business Finance role.
- Self‑starter with the ability to drive change.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience leading others and contributing to cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Risk management analysis skills.
- Experience with Longview.
- Experience developing Power BI tools.
On‑site working model: at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
TravelMay include up to 10% domestic/international travel.

Compensation and BenefitsThe expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. The role may also be eligible for a range of benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences and retirement benefits.
