FP&A Manager – ASD

• Drive the ASD finance operational rhythm (Strategic, Operating, quarterly, monthly, weekly), ensuring alignment and process standardization in financial aspects.
• Support weekly & monthly financial management processes, reviews, and reporting.
• Connect operational actions to financial planning to drive accountability & execution.
• Leverage analytical tools, risk analysis approaches, data analytics and statistical assessment to enhance understanding of financial performance and outlook.
• Support budgeting and spending analysis processes for R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Admin functions within the division.
• Collaborate with other division FP&A leaders, SIBG FP&A, and Corporate FP&A to improve processes and analytical approaches.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Seven (7) years of finance experience working in private, public, government or military environments.
• Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:
  • MBA or graduate degree in Finance from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and conflicting deadlines.
  • Solid business knowledge and acumen as well as strategic thinking mindset.
  • Thinks broadly of intersections between business, financial, and economic data.
  • Creative problem‑solving and ability to work with a wide variety of functional teams to address key issues.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful financial insights and analysis.
  • Previous experience in a Business Finance role.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to drive change.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience leading others and contributing on cross‑functional teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Risk management analysis skills.
  • Experience with Longview.
  • Experience with developing Power BI tools.

• Work location:
  
  This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
• Travel: may include up to 10% domestic or international travel.
• Relocation: not authorized.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
