Radiologic Technologist - ADIT - Casual

Job Overview

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at St John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a casual position that will work as needed by the department. There are day/evening/night/weekend shifts available. Must work a minimum of 1 shift per month.

• If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm – 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.
• If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm – 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures independently.
• Operates fixed and portable radiographic equipment.
• Provides care appropriate to patients of all age groups, through appropriate communication with co‑workers, patients, and other personnel.
• Interprets appropriate data and information needed to identify each patient’s needs.
• Provides appropriate safety measures to assure radiation protection according to department and state guidelines.
• Utilizes appropriate patient identification, obtaining pertinent clinical information, marking films, and appropriate technical techniques for imaging quality.
• Evaluates completed radiographs regarding technique and positioning - make corrections when appropriate to maintain set standard per policy and procedure.

• Knowledge to operate fixed and portable radiographic equipment
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT)

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract. If your role is eligible for a sign‑on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
