Our client, a leading organization in the industrial safety sector, is seeking a SAF Fit Tester to join their team. As a Safety Fit Tester, you will be part of the Safety and Compliance Department supporting health and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Safety Fit Tester
Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: $18-$22
Duration:12 months (potential to extend)
- Conduct respirator fit testing and EARfit testing to ensure proper PPE usage
- Perform qualitative exposure assessments and PPE assessments, including training others on PPE use
- Carry out quantitative air and noise monitoring to evaluate environmental safety
- Manage equipment calibration coordination to maintain testing accuracy
- Perform ergonomic assessments and radiation surveys to support workplace safety initiatives
- Experience with respirator fit testing and exposure assessment procedures
- Knowledge of PPE standards and safety protocols
Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to perform environmental monitoring and assessments
