Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a .9 FTE Baylor (work 48 hours per 2 weeks, paid for 72) position that will work every Saturday and Sunday from 8AM - 8:30PM.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).
Required Qualifications- Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Basic Life Support
- Meet MRI Safety Screen requirements
- 1 year of experience in a related role
- Additional certifications in Imaging
- ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire.
