IT Analyst III – Supplier Automation
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Supplier Enablement Program coordinator to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and seamless onboarding and management of our supplier network within the SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of strategic sourcing principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing supplier relationships and system integrations and migration projects.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Onboarding & Setup
- Coordinate end‑to‑end supplier setup process, ensuring all necessary documentation and system configurations are complete.
- Manage the integration of new and existing suppliers into our procurement systems.
- Ensure seamless supplier onboarding experience, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
- Supplier Enablement Task Management
- Administer and oversee tasks related to the supplier enablement program within SAP Business Network.
- Monitor and track supplier compliance with enablement requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements for supplier enablement workflows.
- SAP Ariba & SAP Business Network Administration
- Utilize and manage functionalities within SAP Business Network, specifically under the Supplier Enablement Tab for vendor management.
- Perform Supplier Enablement Configuration to support business needs and process efficiency.
- System Integration & Data Management
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of supplier management processes and data flow between SAP ECC and S/4
HANA environments. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues related to supplier data and transactions.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of supplier management processes and data flow between SAP ECC and S/4
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Collaborate closely with suppliers throughout the enablement phase, building positive and productive relationships within a team‑oriented environment.
- Communicate effectively with internal team supervisor to ensure alignment on supplier enablement initiatives.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of supplier enablement activities and progress.
- Generate reports on supplier enablement metrics and provide insights to management.
- Technical
- In‑depth technical knowledge and hands‑on experience with SAP Ariba, specifically Supplier Enablement and managing vendors within the Supplier Enablement Tab of SAP Business Network.
- Experience with Supplier Enablement Configuration within SAP Ariba/Business Network.
- Experience in conducting onboarding testing for new suppliers.
- Soft
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Problem‑solving aptitude and proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years in a Supplier Enablement Program Administrator role or similar capacity, proven experience with supplier enablement task management, strategic sourcing principles, supplier management processes, integration points and data flow between SAP ECC and S/4
HANA, foundation in ANSI X12 and EDIFACT. - Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other procurement technologies or ERP systems.
- Language skills – English (read, write, speak).
