Drayage Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own demand signal capture and short- to medium-term volume forecasting to support container planning and booking alignment
• Build and maintain dashboards tracking first leg KPIs including cost per container, drayage spend, carrier performance, and network volume
• Conduct cost analysis and surface savings opportunities across consolidation centers and drayage spend
• Support CI target tracking against annual spend reduction goals
• Maintain accurate records across ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms
• Partner with plants, traffic management, freight forwarders, and consolidation center teams to ensure data integrity
• Produce regular reporting for leadership on first leg cost performance and trends
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across first leg operations

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
• 1 year experience with ocean or air freight AND/OR drayage, intermodal, or trucking operations
• 1 year of SAP or equivalent ERP experience required
• Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable working across multiple sites and stakeholders
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and languages is a plus (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Demonstrates expertise in demand signal capture, volume forecasting, and cost analysis within supply chain operations. Proficient in maintaining data integrity across ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
