- Lead and support mid‑to‑long term strategic capacity planning for responsible value streams, partnering with Business Supply Chain leaders to actively monitor capacity of key value streams globally.
- Lead and support complex NPI, Portfolio, PIPO, and SOS change projects to ensure flawless planning execution.
- Lead and support cross‑functional activities tied to the Plan, Make, Source, and Deliver pillars within the enterprise supply chain organization to deliver on service, cost, and cash initiatives enabling efficient sales growth.
- Participate in the S&OP process rhythm and lead where needed for more complex value streams.
- Lead and support the level loading plans needed by supply, production, and material planning teams where constraints exist throughout the end‑to‑end value stream.
- Lead and support the end‑to‑end planning requirements for key value streams, as assigned.
- Be responsible for planning process ownership and subject‑matter expertise as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Five combined years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Experience in managing international teams.
- Experience designing and implementing step changes in extended value stream performance.
- Experience across multiple supply chain roles (demand, supply, production materials, distribution/transportation planning).
- Understanding of advanced supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, cash flow, working capital).
- Strong working knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, including NPI, PIPO, capacity planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and service.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Advanced analytical skills for complex optimization techniques.
- Project Management experience.
- APICS certification (additional qualification).
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Business Administration (additional qualification).
This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel.
