Materials Science Intern

The Science Team at Pride Health is hiring a "Quality Control Technician" for a top leading Materials Science organization.

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments following established procedure
• Prepare, characterize, and test abrasive samples and resin formulation
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Collect, analyze, and document test data accurately
• Investigate and troubleshoot product testing issues with cross-functional team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
• Follow all laboratory safety and chemical handling procedure

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience (industrial, academic, government, or military).
• Reliable transportation for this onsite position.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.

• Associate's degree or technical degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with manufacturing or pilot plant equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and laboratory safety practices.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and laboratory equipment interfaces.

• Pay: $21–$23 per hour
• Location: Maplewood, MN
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Duration: 12-month contract
