LAB Technician

Overview

Our client, a leader in the consumer products industry, is seeking a LAB Technician I to join their team. The LAB Technician I supports research, development, and quality assurance efforts in the Home Improvement Consumer Products Lab. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adaptability.

Job Title: LAB Technician I

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: $18-$21/hr

• Prepare materials and organize setups for product testing
• Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research
• Perform mechanical performance tests for research, development, or quality control purposes
• Conduct visual observations and testing on competitor product samples and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders
• Perform hands-on testing using multiple pieces of laboratory equipment

• Ability to perform physical and mechanical analyses and tests
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, active environment
• Good communication skills for reporting test results
• Physical ability to move, arrange, sort, and hang product testing weights (2 lbs-20 lbs)
