Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the consumer products industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician n I to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician you will be part of the Consumer Products Lab team supporting research, development, and quality control initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, excellent observational skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: $18 to $21 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Conduct physical and mechanical analyses and tests to ensure product quality and safety.
• Prepare materials and organize testing setups for various experiments.
• Assist in laboratory experiments by testing and evaluating new materials and products based on research directives.
• Perform mechanical performance tests necessary for research, development, or quality control processes.
• Test or visually observe product samples from competitors and communicate findings effectively.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Experience with hands-on testing and laboratory procedures.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform repetitive tests accurately and efficiently.
