Are you a dynamic communicator with a passion for coaching and developing talent? As a Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sales team. You will design and deliver engaging training programs, focused on both power and technical skills, that equip our sales professionals with the tools and techniques they need to excel. Your expertise will help drive performance, boost confidence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the AAD portfolio training solutions for internal sales professionals, including in-person training, eLearning, and virtual.
- Coordinate and lead external customer training sessions including in-person training in St. Paul, and virtual training sessions.
- Act as SME and lead for all sales process related training content and sessions, as we all as sales tools and technologies.
- Apply deep sales process, product, portfolio and industry knowledge to training, and act as learning and development SME within AAD.
- Work with Expertise Delivery in developing and implementing comprehensive sales training programs for AAD connected to products, applications and markets.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for AAD sales professionals at different stages of career (from onboarding to expert).
- Design, maintain and execute AAD skills evaluation to assess training needs and customize programs to address specific skill gaps within AAD.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AAD training initiatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to AAD sales professionals through ride-along’s and virtual 1:1 engagement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales training.
- Establish and own relationships with key stakeholders within the division, across global areas, departments and levels of leadership.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales leaders, portfolio leaders, Application Engineers and key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree (Completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

- Proven experience in sales, sales training and/or a related field.

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN
May include up to 25% domestic travel.

Compensation and BenefitsThe expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 – $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
