Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in the scientific research and development industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be an integral part of the Research and Quality Control department, supporting innovative projects and ensuring the highest standards of laboratory testing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h depending upon experience
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Perform chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results accurately.
• Configure, operate, and maintain analytical test equipment, including chromatography instrumentation.
• Follow and develop standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment, including material handling tasks such as lifting pails and moving pallets.

What's Needed?

• At least one year of technician experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire and ability to work effectively within a highly interdisciplinary, team-oriented environment.
