Our client, a leader in industrial research and development, is seeking an Industrial Laboratory Technician to join their team. As an Industrial Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative product development and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Industrial Laboratory Technician
Location: Maplewood, Minnesota 100% onsite
Pay Range: $18 to $25 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?- Perform technical activities related to R&D and material testing on a program basis under moderate supervision.
- Initiate and complete technical activities leading to the development of new or improved test methods.
- Establish and maintain a network of support to facilitate the completion of assignments.
- Document experimental data and observations accurately in electronic formats and prepare reports as needed.
- Support routine sample preparation, analysis, chemical inventory management, and instrument calibration and maintenance.
- BA/BS degree in chemistry or related field with 3+ years of industrial laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in Titration, Inductively Coupled Plasma, and Ion Chromatography techniques.
- Experience in sample preparation, including stock solutions, standards, dilutions, and pipetting accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and adaptability to new software and instrument systems.
