Logistics Analyst (Solventum)

The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a Logistics Analyst, you will collaborate with a diverse, global team to support trade compliance and regulatory processes. Your contributions will include:
- Providing training and direction to operations and business unit personnel on harmonized tariff schedules (HTS) and government agency reporting requirements.
- Owning tariff classification rules and maintaining existing data to ensure accuracy.
- Monitoring tariff classification changes for designated regions, updating internal databases, and communicating updates to external brokers.
- Using strong analytical skills to anticipate and resolve issues, enabling improved decision‑making.
- Applying regulatory knowledge to establish trade policies and procedures aligned with changes, risk, and impact.
- Serving as a liaison at national and local agency levels to influence trade regulatory activity.
- Driving regulatory compliance and business effectiveness through process optimization.
To set you up for success from day one, Solventum requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5 years of professional experience in HTS Classification.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:
- US Licensed Customs broker or equivalent in a foreign jurisdiction.
- In‑depth knowledge of HTS general rules of classification (GRIs) and concepts such as "essential character".
- Ability to interpret customs rulings and technical drawings/schematics, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with large, transformative projects involving international trade.
- Cross‑functional experience across geographies, functions, and systems of record.
- Expertise in trade focus areas such as release, classification, valuation, and trade risk management.
- Familiarity with PGAs.
- Experience handling broker inquiries.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with SAP GTS and Tradeflow is a plus.
- Remote
May include up to 10% domestic/international travel.

Compensation and BenefitsApplicable to US Applicants Only:
The expected compensation range for this position is $83,600 - $114,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. Additional benefits include Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits.
