Associate Business Account Manager (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking a thoughtful, business-minded professional to grow into the role of Account Manager. This is a transitional role designed for someone who may begin by assisting with details (loose-end management as it relates to client projects, project communications and taking Zoho One trainings to understand the platform from a capabilities and client point of view) but is eager to learn the art of consultative sales and client stewardship.

Over time, you will learn directly from the President and Lead Design Architect how to:

  • Recognize business process gaps
  • Build confidence in prospective clients
  • Shape those insights into Planning Proposals
  • Guide clients through their lifecycle with Camarès, from first conversation through monthly strategic check-ins

This position is ideal for someone with business management experience, excellent communication skills, and a calm, confident demeanor. It offers flexibility and mentoring while also preparing you for a central role in client development and relationship management.

Responsibilities by Transition Phase
  • Gain understanding of Camarès portfolio of services through:
    Zoho capabilities training and direct experience with other elements of our service portfolio.
  • Assist with project follow-up
  • Track and close ‘loose ends’ in client engagements
  • Document processes and contribute to learning & enablement guides
  • Shadow the president and lead process architect in client meetings and internal planning sessions to understand our approach
Phase 2:
Engagement & Proposal Development (Months 6–12)
  • Serve as first contact for prospects: conduct discovery conversations, listen carefully, and capture key business challenges
  • Collaborate briefly with our lead process architect to translate technical details into business context
  • Draft Planning Proposals under guidance, framing client challenges, and recommended paths
  • Participate in implementation meetings, ensuring client concerns are heard and documented
Phase 3:
Account Ownership & Growth (Year 2+)
  • Own client relationships through the full lifecycle, from onboarding through long-term support
  • Lead monthly or quarterly client business reviews, helping connect technology progress to business outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for additional value, guiding clients toward next-stage solutions
  • Represent Camarès in community, networking, and partner settings with professionalism and confidence
Qualifications
  • Background in business management, consulting, or client services
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: able to listen deeply, build trust, and communicate clearly
  • Strong organizational ability; comfortable juggling multiple client priorities
  • Interest in business process, operations, and how technology enables growth
  • Confidence and the ability to earn respect by offering thoughtful, informed perspectives
  • Prior exposure to CRM, ERP, or business software is a plus (Zoho experience not required—training provided)
Schedule
  • Flexible schedule (approx. 9am–2pm) to support work/life balance
  • Growth path into full Account Manager role with increased compensation as responsibilities expand
