THE POSITION

The goal of this position is to teach students at the middle school level the Spanish language and culture.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1. New Jersey Teacher of Spanish Certification or eligibility required.

2. Teaching experience preferred.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status

* Master's Degree: $73,400 - $109,118

* Master's + 30 Credits: $77,410 - $114,703

* Doctorate: $80,410 - $117,703

JOB GOAL(S)

To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Implements instruction to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. 2.

Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.

Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives.
