Substitute Teacher

Candidates will provide consistent substitute coverage to students, faculty and staff.

Qualifications required:

• New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certificate or NJ Instructional Certification. ($125 Fee)
• Teaching experience in English, Math, Science and/or Special Education needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status. ($30 fee for Archive request, Total of $79 fee for New fingerprint request)

Criminal history clearance must be obtained using our school and district codes NJDOE Substitute Eligibility Requirements:

• Completion of 30 semester-hour credits at an accredited college or university
• Criminal history record check: approval date must be within five months of the application date with "Substitute Teacher" as the job position

Application procedure:

• Applications are accepted online through Applitrack only. In addition to completing all sections of the application, please upload a copy of your cover letter and resume.
• If your application is selected, an email and electronic substitute packet, outlining your employment requirements, will be forwarded to you.
