Acute Wound Healing Specialist – Charleston, WV The Impact You’ll Make in This Role
Serve as a consultative wound healing expert and primary contact for hospital wound care decision makers. Educate clinicians, drive adoption of Solventum solutions, expand therapy utilization, and coordinate patient transition of care.
Responsibilities- Consult with clinicians on the safe and effective use of Solventum products.
- Attend procedures and placements in the hospital care setting.
- Deliver sustainable business growth based on sales targets through account and territory management.
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities.
- Educate clinicians on Solventum products, including in‑servicing.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
- Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions.
- Persuade key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
- Provide customer support and service.
- Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of the sales training program.
- Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking.
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
- Use of personal vehicle for company business; completion of pre‑hire MVR review and ongoing eligibility per Solventum’s driver policy.
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
- OR
- High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
- Proven track record of sales quota and target attainment.
- Prior wound care or medical device sales experience.
- Expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (e.g., surgeons).
- Experience in territory management and business planning.
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
- Customer‑focused selling and closing skills.
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience with new product introductions and value analysis process.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of sales quota and target attainment.
- Prior wound care or medical device sales experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (e.g., surgeons).
- Proven experience in territory management & business planning.
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
- Customer‑focused selling and closing.
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.

- Outstanding data and analytical skills.
- May need to enter healthcare or third‑party facilities that require specific licenses, vaccinations, or credentials.
Remote
TravelField‑based role with up to 20% overnight travel anticipated (may vary by territory).
