What You Will Do

At Trico, our people make the difference. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our organization. As the Receptionist, you are often the first point of contact for Members, visitors, vendors, and community partners.

Your professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service help create a positive and welcoming experience for everyone who interacts with our Cooperative.

Key duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Greet visitors, employees, and guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls efficiently and courteously.
  • Manage the flow of visitors and ensure proper sign‑in and security procedures are followed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
  • Maintain lobby, reception, and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, document preparation, and record management.
  • Coordinate meeting room reservations and support meeting preparations as needed.
  • Provide support to departments across the organization on various administrative projects.
  • Process routine requests while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion.
  • Help maintain office supplies and coordinate inventory replenishment.
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
  • What You Bring to Trico
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in an office environment.
  • Bi‑lingual – Spanish/English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
  • Previous experience with multi‑line phone systems.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software programs.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work overtime hours as needed.
