What You Will DoAre you ready to make an impact in the world of electric utility engineering? Trico is seeking a Distribution Engineer I to bring technical expertise and innovative thinking to our team. This is your opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our distribution system while delivering exceptional service to our Members.
This position will work with experienced engineers in the execution of technical activities required on assigned projects. Assist in preparation of construction work plans, long‑range plans and telecommunication plan to maintain reliability and system planning for the cooperative.
What You Bring to Trico- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or ten years’ direct experience in engineering or design in an electric distribution utility in lieu of education.
- Familiar with standards set by the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and all other applicable federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong technical aptitude with excellent proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Solutions (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to foster collaboration and maintain high engagement within the team.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and work evenings and weekends as needed.
