Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)  in Marana, AZ

A K-12 school in Marana, AZ is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication development throughout the academic school year on a contract basis. This opportunity offers both part-time and full-time positions, providing flexibility to fit your availability and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language impairments.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support students communication needs in the classroom setting.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within K-12 settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans, document progress, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy environments and educational regulations is preferred.
