Clinical Informatics Analyst
Marana Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our Information Technology team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ.
The Clinical Informatics Analyst serves as the liaison between clinical operations, Information Technology, and organizational leadership to optimize the effective use of the electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical applications across Marana Health. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Informatics and Applications, this position partners with providers, clinical staff, and operational leaders to analyze workflows, coordinate system implementations, improve user adoption, and support continuous workflow optimization.
The Clinical Informatics Analyst evaluates clinical and operational workflows, documents business requirements, coordinates testing and implementation activities, develops training materials, and provides ongoing provider support. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, the Analyst supports enterprise initiatives while serving as the frontline resource for clinical application optimization across all Marana Health locations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Two (2) years of healthcare operations, clinical informatics, EHR optimization, workflow improvement, or healthcare technology experience.
- Experience supporting ambulatory clinical workflows.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical processes.
- Experience participating in EHR implementations or optimization projects.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety
- Current Arizona driver's license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MH)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Experience with Athena One or another ambulatory EHR.
- Clinical background (RN, MA, LPN, RT, etc.).
- Experience in an FQHC or ambulatory care environment.
- Lean/process improvement experience.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
An equivalent combination of directly related education and experience may be considered when it provides the knowledge and skills required to perform the essential functions of the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to evaluate clinical workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements that support quality, efficiency, and patient care.
- Experience documenting and mapping current and future-state processes to identify gaps, opportunities, and workflow improvements.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and translate clinical and operational needs into clear business and system requirements.
- Experience developing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, documenting results, and validating that system changes meet operational and user requirements.
- Ability to support organizational and system changes through stakeholder engagement, communication, training, implementation support, and adoption strategies.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation practices and the ability to identify opportunities to improve documentation accuracy, consistency, completeness, and workflow efficiency.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with providers and clinical teams, understand operational needs, address concerns, and support successful implementation of process and system improvements.
- Strong ability to present information clearly, facilitate meetings and discussions, engage diverse stakeholder groups, and communicate complex information effectively.
