Position Overview
Senior Third‑Party Logistics Manager (3PL) at Raytheon's new Marana Logistics Center in Marana, AZ. Onsite U.S. Citizen required. Must obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities- Oversee supplier KPIs and maintain accountability for root cause and corrective action.
- Act as liaison between Raytheon factory personnel and 3PL supplier: communicate needs, assign priority, resolve concerns, and manage special projects.
- Manage a multi‑million dollar annual budget and monitor supplier cost through invoicing and project cost reviews.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Finance, Operations, and Production Control to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other Raytheon 3PL engagements to develop and implement standard work and best practices.
- Lead a small team of Raytheon professionals: performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and hiring.
- Lead a culture of safety and drive safety initiatives throughout operations.
- Travel as required for occasional visits to other Raytheon 3PL engagements.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 7 years.
- Experience in factory, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or third‑party environment.
- Supervisory or managerial experience.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system (WMS).
- Experience with Six Sigma or other process‑improvement methodologies.
- APICS certification.
