Senior Supplier Quality Manager – part of the Supplier Requirements and Services Team. Responsible for managing quality systems and processes at Raytheon’s third‑party logistics partner GXO. Acts as the quality lead for supplier statement of work compliance and drives supplier corrective action report resolution. Onsite position based in Marana, AZ at GXO.
What You Will Do- Manage GXO’s supplier statement of work (SSOW)
- Issue, track, and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR)
- Support and coach the development and growth of the GXO team
- Collaborate daily with cross‑functional teams to meet organizational goals (technical support, manufacturing, design engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, program management)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Plan workforce and forecast staffing needs
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for inspection escapes
- Disposition of non‑conforming material, purges, and items in quality hold
- Assist in development and execution of training documentation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Raytheon’s CI tool, CORE
- University degree or equivalent experience with minimum ten years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum seven years
- Experience in quality or a technical manufacturing environment
- Experience identifying root cause and implementing effective short‑term and long‑term corrective actions
- Experience with commercial and/or aerospace/defense regulations and standards such as AS9100, AS9102, ISO‑9000, ISO‑9001, or AS9145
- Experience working in a cross‑functional team with Supply Chain, Operations, Program Quality, and Manufacturing
- Current U.S. Secret clearance
- Experience with SAP or PRISM to generate daily and weekly metrics
- Strong management skills: decision making, goal setting, delegation, coaching, motivating
- Supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry
- Knowledge of Supplier Quality and receiving inspection
- Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or ASQ
- Knowledge of technical standards (ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc.)
- Experience with cables, wiring harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, machined components, or circuit card assemblies
- Knowledge of GD&T and practical application
- Practical knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes
- Experience with First Article Inspection, AS9102 management, and statistical process control
- Experience building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships, including in an international or global setting
- Excellent communication skills with presence and influence
