Business Development Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand relationships within the federal construction market. This individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building relationships with government agencies and industry partners, and helping position the company for continued success across federal construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the federal contracting space and a proven track record of winning work for a general contractor or specialty subcontractor.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute business development strategies focused on federal construction opportunities
- Build relationships with federal agencies, prime contractors, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities across federal markets
- Support proposal efforts, capture planning, and pursuit strategy development
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand market presence
- Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, and estimating teams to support growth objectives
- Track market trends, agency forecasts, and upcoming procurement opportunities
