The Customer Service Representative I (CSR) retains existing relationships and establishes new deposit accounts in accordance with branch goals. The CSR promotes and cross‑sells bank products and services.
ResponsibilitiesEducation and Experience: High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on‑the‑job education in a specific skill area; e.g., data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication
Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person‑to‑person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public and other employees.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Critical Thinking
Skills:
Ability to utilize common sense understanding to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in routine situations.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None
Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Some outside banking related courses preferred.

Somewhat disagreeable. Continuously exposed to one or two elements such as noise, intermittent standing, walking; occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting. Noise level is usually moderate.
Physical ActivitiesSemi‑repetitive, low physical. Requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Additional Information- Demonstrated sales ability a plus.
