Overview
Live and work in the Florida Keys – Monroe County is seeking an experienced Code Compliance Director to lead and coordinate the County’s code compliance operations and programs that protect community health, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities- Oversee planning, budgeting, and daily operations of the Code Compliance Department.
- Ensure cases are managed efficiently, fairly, and in accordance with County ordinances and applicable State and Federal regulations.
- Provide guidance on interpreting codes and policies and work with County Administration and the County Attorney’s Office on complex enforcement matters.
- Represent the department before elected officials, advisory boards, community groups, and the public.
