On-Call Spa Massage Therapist

• Providing a range of massage and body scrub services. Experience with prenatal massage, hot stones, body scrubs, and wraps preferred. Dual license preferred but not required.
• Actively participate in ongoing training and maintain cleanliness standards in all areas of the spa facility.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies and inventory in the assigned treatment room.
• Maintain condition, cleanliness, and maintenance of spa, salon, grounds, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Be knowledgeable in the resort’s Spa and other emergency procedures, including evacuation plans for fire, bomb threat, natural disaster, etc., and ensure all subordinate staff are fully trained to respond according to resort policies and procedures.
• Safeguard at all times the resort’s funds, records, and equipment entrusted to the departments in the area of responsibility.
• Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs and may include weekends and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Spa Director and maintain established guidelines in the absence of Spa Supervisors.

• Licensed in the state of Florida in massage therapy and/or esthetics.
• Previous experience in a customer service capacity.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
• Graciously deal with the general public (resort guests staff and visitors) in a warm, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Reliable transportation is mandatory.

• Occasionally lift cartons of merchandise from 30 to 50 lbs.
• Excellent physical condition with a strong back, arms, and legs; capable of reaching and bending without difficulty.
• Neat, well‐groomed, well‑poised, and possess a pleasant voice and demeanor.
• Establish a rapport with guests and customers in a warm, friendly, and courteous manner at all times.
