POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Manager – Tbaytel Store, the Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and acknowledge every customer, maintain solid product knowledge and perform all other aspects of customer service.

Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.

Complete sales orders and point of Sales transactions accurately

Responsible for Customer Relationship Management.

Perform post-sale follow-up and support.

Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.

Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.

Educate customers on Tbaytel’s products and services to ensure they make informed decisions.

Showcase the features of Tbaytel’s products and services and how they can benefit the consumer.

Communicate customer requests/concerns to management.

Participate in inventory and cycle counts.

Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of and complies with all legislation and Tbaytel policies relevant to the position and the duties performed.

Any other related tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Secondary School Diploma and one year of experience in a retail and/or service environment.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and works in a professional and pleasant tone and manner
Technical ability to learn new software as required.
Effective Sales, time management, problem solving, analytical and prioritization skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Post-secondary diploma/degree.
Previous retail sales experience
Knowledge of telecommunication industry, products and services.
Proficiency in the use of various computer software programs, such as email, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
Ability to communicate via American Sign Language (ASL)

Must successfully undergo a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
