Maintenance Technician – Isla Bella Beach Resort Job Summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort, a luxury oceanfront resort in the Florida Keys, is seeking a dependable and hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the resort, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting issues, working with their hands, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the resort
• Troubleshoot and repair:
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Electrical components
  • HVAC systems
  • Kitchen and laundry equipment
• Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and basic building repairs
• Replace light bulbs, filters, switches, belts, and other components as needed
• Respond to guest and team member maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify repair needs and safety concerns
• Maintain pools and related equipment as needed
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow all safety, fire, and resort procedures

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
• Hotel or resort maintenance experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
