Join to apply for the Residential Support Worker role at Aspris
.

At Aspris, we believe that all young people deserve the best chance to grow, develop and receive support that prepares them for a bright future. Our Residential Support Workers are crucial in helping us achieve this vision.

What the role looks like

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to our young people and help with day-to-day activities such as getting washed, dressed and out to school. If you are working a shift during the weekend, you will seldom be on-site at the home because the activities are off-site — think theme parks, bowling alleys, cinemas and zoos. You’ll have fun while supporting the young people.

With the good times come challenging times, as our homes accommodate young people with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. Our Residential Support Workers build strong relationships and create lasting memories that help young people progress. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a young person overcome difficulties.

We are a large, nurturing home on the outskirts of March that cares for young people between the ages of 11–18 with emotional and behavioural needs. The young people are supported at the home and in the community and are encouraged to undertake various activities and hobbies to increase their confidence and belonging. We support independence and self-care skills so the young people can be independent in the future.

For this role, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for compassionate, friendly and genuinely caring individuals who want to give our young people the best possible chance to succeed.
