Maternity Practitioner Early East

First‑time parents are looking for guidance and support as they prepare to welcome their baby via C‑section in early March.

• Assist the mother with recovery after surgery
• Provide advice on newborn care, feeding choices, and safe sleep habits
• Help establish effective routines and foster a nurturing family environment
• Boost parents’ confidence through proactive support and skill building

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with first‑time parents in a maternity setting
• Qualified Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum)
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Up‑to‑date DBS certificate (enhanced)
• Proficiency in handling pets and animal‑friendly behaviour

• Based in Battle, East Sussex – travelling required, must possess a working driver’s licence
• Contract length: 2 weeks (extendable)
• Hours:
  
  20 hours per day + 4‑hour break, Monday through Friday
• Hourly rate: £17 gross
• Accommodation and parking are available on request
• Self‑employed opportunity – contractors will issue their own contracts and unique tax reference numbers to clients at offer stage
