As a Dispensary Associate, you guide customers on their journey into cannabis by educating them on product benefits and potential side effects, ensuring a compliant, compassionate, and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients.
- Deliver the Tru Experience through elevated service standards, product knowledge, and behaviors.
- Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
- Process patient orders accurately and efficiently.
- Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
- Resolve product or device issues for customers.
- Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
- Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
- Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Follow all Trulieve policies and procedures as a delivery associate.
- Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in a similar field.
- Minimum age 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV). Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
- Cash handling experience.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with a variety of personalities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Can work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism; ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.
- Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely.
- Proficiency in conversational English, operating electronic equipment (computer, laptop), and telecommunication devices.
- Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties, including moving, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, and navigating confined spaces.
Constantly required to move across the facility, including confined spaces; manipulate objects up to 50 lbs; ascend/descend stairways, ladders, and stoops; and occasionally remain seated.
Work Schedule & CompensationFlexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; up to 25 hours per week; eligible for tips; benefits include paid time off.
