** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures for access control, visitor screening, and other security-related activities at the location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, permissions, and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or private areas.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, amenities, and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related policies.

+ Maintain accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to visitor activity, access events, incidents, and/or property concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
