- Costing and General Accounting to join their team. As an Interim Accountant
- Costing and General Accounting, you will be part of the Accounting and Finance Department supporting the Accounting, Operations, and Cross-Functional Project Teams during a key ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.*

Interim Accountant - Costing and General Accounting*

* Location:

Marengo, IL (McHenry County, IL) - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)*
* ** Pay Range: $30-45/hr*
* ** What's the Job?*
* **- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting*
* **- Prepare monthly journal entries, analyze financial data, and support month-end close activities*
* **- Conduct variance analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions*
* **- Assist with product costing activities, including tracking production costs, updating standard costs, and analyzing cost variances*
* **- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including ERP implementation support, product launches, and cost improvement projects*
* ** What's Needed?*
* **- Bachelor's degree in Accounting*
* **- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment*
* **- Knowledge of cost accounting concepts, including standard costing and variance analysis*
* **- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs*
* **- Experience working with ERP systems and strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills*
