Entry Level Utilities Maintenance Technician
As a Utilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the mechanical functionality, structural safety, and operational readiness of a high-volume, automated concrete manufacturing facility. Your role is crucial in minimizing factory downtime by providing rapid diagnostic responses to emergency equipment breakdowns and critical utility failures. You will also execute routine preventative and predictive maintenance schedules on heavy-duty production machinery and facility infrastructure, ensuring compliance with federal OSHA regulations and corporate safety mandates.
Collaboration with plant managers and production teams to optimize machinery life cycles and increase daily manufacturing output is essential.
Responsibilities
- Maintain mechanical functionality, structural safety, and operational readiness of the facility.
- Diagnose and respond rapidly to emergency equipment breakdowns and critical utility failures.
- Execute routine preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Operate safely in a fast-paced industrial environment, adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with plant managers and production teams to optimize machinery life cycles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
