Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse. The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that resident's daily medication needs are met compassionately and with dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest.

Day shifts available.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
  • Understand and follow the "Six rights of medication administration" and all Bickford policies regarding medication management.
  • Appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
  • Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
  • Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate the Bickford Mission "Whatever it Takes" to all other team members on shift.
Qualifications
  • Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Willingness to take additional training or education as required by specific states.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to learn Bickford's eMAR system to administer medications.
