Responsibilities
- Complete all aspects of restoration work, including planting, seeding, erosion control methods, brush cutting, and herbicide application
- Perform restoration work within stream, prairie, and woodland areas
- Assist with construction projects such as stream restoration and detention basin retrofits
- Complete work for municipalities, subdivisions, and private clients
- Work directly with senior ecologists
- Perform projects generally within an hour of the company’s offices
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources or related field
- Must be able to acquire herbicide license within 30 days of start date
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to move and carry 35–50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be willing to work outside
- Ability to work within a team-first culture
Demonstrates expertise in restoration work, including planting, seeding, and erosion control methods, while effectively collaborating with senior ecologists and managing projects for various clients. Holds a degree in Natural Resources and possesses the ability to acquire necessary licenses and certifications.
