Full Charge Small Business Bookkeeper

We are currently seeking an on-site, experienced bookkeeper to join our team. We are a leader in the numismatic industry. Conveniently located on Cobb Parkway and Bells Ferry Road in Marietta, GA.

We operate a high volume, fast-paced organization, three businesses, with multiple sales channels; (retail, wholesale and online) with 12+ accounts.

Our bookkeeper is responsible for:

• Review and reporting daily cash
• Posting payments to vendors
• Verify and Post Journal Entries from the retail POS System to QBO
• Weekly review & reporting A/R, A/P and any discrepancies in transactions
• Reconcile payments to invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with accounting and AML policies and procedures
• Process 8300 reports in a timely manner
• Maintain records for the CPA and assist with 1099's and annual tax information
• Prepare and present monthly operating statements
• File timely sales tax reports and payments
• Participate in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes

Requirements:

• Accounting certificate, degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Quick Books Online.
• Self-Starter with ability to work with operations team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
• Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills.
• Openness to learning and adapting.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
